TGP recently showcased our 3A’s Grantown public realm design options at a public and stakeholder event in Grantown on Spey. Hosted by the Grantown Society, the event was well-attended and provided an opportunity for the local community to view the proposed designs and offer their feedback.
In addition to TGP’s presentation, other local projects and initiatives were also showcased, including the Dava Way group and Dulnain Bridge Sustrans Projects. The exhibition was followed by an evening event that focused on the challenges and opportunities associated with delivering and managing community-led access projects. The event was well-attended despite the ongoing Covid-19 outbreak in the area, and TGP participated in a lively question-and-answer session with attendees.
Following the event, TGP’s exhibition boards were moved to the local library where they are available for public viewing, and comments on the proposed design options are encouraged. The team is also updating our virtual exhibition to include the design options, and we welcome comments to help further develop the preferred options.
A huge thank you must go to Crawford at Mabbett for supporting the virtual exhibition. Overall, the event was a success, providing an opportunity for TGP to engage with the local community and gather valuable feedback on our proposed designs.
