Alistair is a Graduate Architectural Technician with a wealth of technical expertise. He has a strong interest in the relationship between indoor and outdoor spaces and their related usage.
Alistair is passionate about various types of projects, particularly unique public realm projects and schemes with sustainability at their core.
Alistair enjoys studying the historical context and importance, and cultural and environmental impact of all projects he works on, believing that understanding and maintaining all of these aspects is paramount to preserving a space’s identity. He consistently endeavours to ensure all of these aspects are maintained while designing landscapes.
He is interested in how the above factors inform the structure of the spaces people use and connect with daily, and how intelligently designed spaces can shape people’s daily lives.
Over his years at university, Alistair has developed a strong understanding of 2D/3D modelling programs, such as AutoCAD, as well as numerous Adobe suite graphical design and presentation packages. He has also previously worked as a Landscape Gardener, providing helpful experience on the construction and maintenance side of landscape development and preservation.
