Thrilled to see that the Nigg Cable Factory (at Cromarty Firth) scheme was approved at committee last month by the Highland Council.
TGP provided landscape planning support as part of the EIA submission managed by Mabbett & Associates Ltd, including the preparation of viewpoint-verified visualisations.
In addition, we provided advice on mitigation with regard to building colour and materials, as well as inputs to the landscape masterplan in line with on-site BNG requirements.
The project will be one of the first to be developed as part of the Inverness and Cromarty Firth Green Freeport initiative and will support the growing renewable energy sector in Scotland.
Congratulations to all the team involved including EDA Architects, we’re looking forward to seeing the project progress.
