Seafields, Seaburn

TGP’s Newcastle Office had a busy end to 2020 which culminated in helping to secure planning permission for 82 new homes in Seaburn, Sunderland for Avant Homes. The layout included a large area of public open space which retained an existing block of woodland along the western boundary, added native woodland edge planting as well as specimen trees, native and ornamental hedge planting, ornamental shrub planting and wildflower meadows to create a connected network of green space that runs through the spine of the site and links into the existing green corridors and wider footpath network. The project, which also included a natural play area and social space as well as swales and a SUDs pond, is now on site.
