Thompson Park – HLF Parks for People Project

The implementation phase is now well underway at Thompson Park, Burnley, with the works to the Rose Garden, Italian Garden, Play Area, Boathouse and Pavilion all now on site. The Play Area is scheduled to be complete in time for the Easter holiday, while the remaining works will be complete by the end of May. In addition to the on-site construction works, the existing park railings and gates are currently off-site being refurbished and there are on-going tree works. Further works to the Lake bed and Paddling Pool are due to come online in the coming weeks and months.
