Bell Street Project
Situated to the east of High Street, Glasgow, the Bell Street proposal comprises of a residential development designed by JAW architects set within a high quality landscape.
The landscape strategy includes the creation of a series of defined spaces for play, seating, relaxing and enjoying the outdoors.
The attention to hard landscape detail adds visual interest through the careful transition from formal to informal areas. The planting creates movement and texture whilst also increasing the biodiversity in the area with wildflower meadows.
More formal tree and hedge planting around the building defines entrances and creates screening for noise and air pollution from the road.
