This project involved the preparation of an LVIA in connection with a proposed battery storage site near Thornton, East Lothian.
Potential cumulative effects were a key consideration given the presence of other power-related infrastructure in the area, including Torness Power Station and Berwick Bank Onshore Substation.
Our scope also included photomontage production, illustrating the establishment of proposed planting mitigation.
The ECU granted sec36 planning consent in December 2023.
