South Lanarkshire Residential

Kypeside Developments Ltd appointed TGP to assist Keppie with the preparation of a masterplan for Kypeside Eco Village near Deadwaters in South Lanarkshire, which was submitted as part of an application for Approval of Matters Specified in Conditions (MSC).

Design work involved the introduction of character areas including the creation of a Village Green to form the heart of the community and the green center of development.

The housing clusters formed a natural phased development while retaining the overall masterplan concept. A landscape framework both around the perimeter and within the site was part of a strong “green vision” for the development to create a comprehensive “layered” landscaping and open space regime.
